The purity of 1-oxo-1-chlorophospholene-2 and 1-oxo-1-chlorophospholene-3 have been determined spectrally.
A method is suggested for the evaluation of the composition of their mixtures from the relative intensities of the δ5CH2 absorption bands in the IR spectra.
