Spectra and structure of salts of acylamidophosphates

Conclusions

  1. 1.

    Salts of N-acylamidophosphates were synthesized and their IR and UV spectra were studied.

  2. 2.

    By a comparison of the spectra of the salts with the spectra of standard compounds, as well as with a calculation of the vibrations of different models corresponding to possible structures of the anion, it was shown that salts of N-acylamidophosphates possess a mesomer structure with delocalization of the ionic charge (for ionically constructed salts) and electrons of theπ-bonds between the atoms of the acylamidophosphate group, far from the limiting states with respect to distribution of electron density.

  3. 3.

    Such a mesomer structure of the salts permits us to assume the formation of a conjugated system of bonds in the acylamidophosphate group, which also finds confirmation in an investigation of the UV spectra of the salts and standard compounds.
