Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The rate constants of chain propagation and termination in the oxidation of 1,1-diphenylethane were determined by the method of electron paramagnetic resonance.

  2. 2.

    The reactivity of tertiary peroxide radicals stops with increasing number of alkyl groups at the tertiary carbon atom.
