W-Boson contribution to photon polarization operator in an external magnetic field

Abstract

We calculated the one-loop contribution of w-bosons to the photon propagator in a constant homogeneous magnetic field. We obtain the probability for the creation of a pair of W-bosons by a polarized photon and the radiative shift of the photon mass in the external field above.
