Polarizability of nonpolar atoms and molecules in a medium

We obtain relations between the dielectric permittivity and the density of monatomic and polyatomic nonpolar dielectrics in the gas and liquid states. The relations lead to a constant value of the polarizability of atoms and molecules over a wide range of the state parameters.
