A method of solving nonlinear integral equations of viscoelasticity

Abstract

A theorem of existence of the solution of a nonlinear Volterra integral equation is formulated. For constructing the solution it is proposed to use a variant of the collocation method which makes it possible to find the solution with a predetermined maximum residual.
