Effect of psycho-emotional stress and physical activity on change in the mechanical properties of the artery walls with age

  • 22 Accesses

Abstract

The effect of psycho-emotional stress and physical activity on the changes in the mechanical properties of the artery walls with age is established on the basis of data on the pulse-wave velocity in the aorta and in the arteries of the limbs of more or less healthy individuals aged from 11 to 60 years.
