    The method of mixed anhydrides was used to synthesize the 2,4,5-trichlorophenyl esters of the tert-butyloxycarbonyl tripeptides (CBZ=carbobenzoxy group): (Nε-CBZ)-Lys-Ala-Ala, Ala-(Nε-CBZ)-Lys-Ala, and Ala-Ala-(Nε-CBZ)-Lys.
