Using the ESR method it was shown that difluorodinitromethane can form the anion-radical CF2(CO2) 2 − under the influence of various nucleophilic agents in aprotic organic solvents as the medium.
The obtained results corroborate the theoretical possibility that the step of one-electron transfer can exist in the reactions of aliphatic polynitrocompounds with nucleophilic agents.
