Isotopic exchange between molecular oxygen and synthetic zeolites

Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The kinetic characteristics of O18 exchange between zeolites NaX, NaY, NaM, and molecular oxygen are close. An increase in the lability of the structural oxygen of zeolites is observed when the sodium in zeolite Y is replaced by copper or silver.

  2. 2.

    The oxygen of the studied zeolites is equivalent as regards exchange with molecular oxygen.
