Reduction of the hydrocracking pressure for obtaining lube oils from high-paraffinaceous feedstock

  • 16 Accesses

Conclusions

It is shown that high-grade oils can be obtained from a paraffinaceous petroleum feedstock by hydrocracking at a pressure of 50 atm, which facilitates plant operation and cuts the cost of the process.

Hydrocracking at 50 atm requires only standard equipment of hydrofining plants.
