Selecting the quenching medium for aluminum alloys

It is recommended to use a 15% (volume percent) of an aqueous solution of a sulfite-alcohol malt concentrate for the quenching of aluminum alloy D16 and V95 sheet semifinished products. In this case, warping of the semifinished products is minimal, and their mechanical and anticorrosion properties are the same as those for the products quenched in water.
