  • 42 Accesses

Abstract

The transfer equation for the case of grey scattering according to Rayleigh's phase function in a semi-infinite axially symmetric atmosphere is considered. The emergent intensity and the intensity at any optical depth have been determined by the Laplace Transform and Wiener-Hopf Technique.
