Dependence of certain ruby laser characteristics on the distance between interferometer mirrors

Abstract

The authors have made an experimental study of the time to onset of generation and pulsation frequency in a ruby laser at different pumping energies as a function of the distance between interferometer mirrors. The experimental results are compared with theoretical data.
