Conclusions

  1. 1.

    Distortion during heat treatment was highest for samples of steels U8 and U10 and lowest for steel 7KhG2VM.

  2. 2.

    In samples of steels 3Kh2V8, KhVG, 7KhG2VM, and 12KhN2A the sign of distortion was constant within the given limits.
