Alfvén Surface Waves along coronal streamers

Abstract

The dispersive characteristics of Alfvén Surface Waves (ASW) along a moving plasma surrounded by a stationary plasma is discussed. The stability curves for the symmetric and the asymmetric modes are also discussed.
