Non ideality of free diffusion boundaries

Abstract

The evolution of free diffusion boundaries with various initial perturbations is described and compared with a set of experimental data for the system KCl-Water. The necessity of extrapolating to infinite time of not only the experimental diffusion coefficient (as a function of 1/t'), but also the experimental Q quantily (as a function of 1/t'2) is stressed.
