Summary
The new C-methylated flavonoid sylpin has been isolated from the needles of the Scotch pine, and the structure of 4′,5,6-trihydroxy-3-methoxy-8-methylflavone has been established for it. During the study of the structure of sylpin two new compounds — 4′,5,6-triacetoxy-3-methoxy-8-methylflavone and 3,4′,5,6-tetrahydroxy-8-methylflavone — were obtained.
