Influence of pH on phenotypic reversal of T4 phage Amber mutations by 5-fluorouracil

The extent of phenotypic reversal by 5-fluorouracil of an amber mutation of the phage T4D increases at high pH. The magnitude of the increase depends strongly on the composition of nutritive medium.
