Order of theilv genes ofSalmonella montevideo

Summary

Ilv mutants of aSalmonella typhimurium-Salmonella montevideo hybrid were used in cotransduction studies to obtain evidence for the order of theilv genes ofS. montevideo. The following order, which is the same as that previously reported forS. typhimurium, is derived:ilvE-ilvD-ilvA-ilvC.
