Spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita

Summary

Nine cases of SED congenita seen in Japanese children are presented. SED congenita was differentiated from Morquio's disease by its earlier manifestation, its characteristic radiographic features, the lack of corneal clouding and the absence of keratosulphaturia.

Résumé

Présentation de neuf cas de dysplasie spondylo-épiphysaire congénitale, observés chez des enfants japonais. La dysplasie spondylo-épiphysaire congénitale se différencie de la maladie de Morquio par son apparition plus précoce, ses images radiologiques caractéristiques, ainsi que par l'absence d'opacités cornéennes et de kératosulfaturie.
