Heavy metals Cu, Zn, Cr, and others were carried though Liangxi River and Xiaomei River from Wuxi City and Huzhou City into Taihu Lake. Pollution of heavy metals in the water and sediments and chemical forms of Cu, Ph, Zn, Cd, Hg, Cr in the surface sediments were analysed to predict the effect of the pollution on water quality in Taihu Lake.
