Zusammenfassung
Die akute lymphatische Leukämie (ALL) ist eine lebensbedrohliche maligne Erkrankung. Während die ALL im Kindesalter die häufigste maligne Erkrankung ist, tritt sie im Erwachsenenalter nur selten auf. Wegen der anspruchsvollen Diagnostik, komplexen Therapie, des lebensbedrohlichen Verlaufs und der Seltenheit der Erkrankung ist die Überweisung an ein hämatologisches Zentrum mit entsprechender Erfahrung dringend zu empfehlen. Es gibt keine allgemeingültige Standardtherapie und durch den Einsatz innovativer Therapieelemente findet eine ständige Fortentwicklung statt. Um eine optimales Management zu gewährleisten und gleichzeitig eine Optimierung der Therapiekonzepte zu ermöglichen, sollten Patienten im Rahmen von Therapiestudien oder gemäß aktuellen Expertenempfehlungen behandelt werden. In Deutschland sind dies die Studien der Deutschen Studiengruppe für die Leukämie des Erwachsenen (German Multicenter Study Group for Adult ALL, GMALL).
