Educational Background

Dr. Wallace earned her B.A. in psychology from Dillard University in 2002. She received her M.S. in psychology in 2007 and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology, with an emphasis in child development in 2012 – both from the University of Southern Mississippi. Wallace worked under the mentorship of Dr. Christopher Barry for her M.S. and Ph.D.

Professional Career

After earning her Ph.D., Dr. Wallace worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Baylor Scott & White healthcare. In 2013 she accepted a position as clinical director on an adolescent inpatient unit at UAB. Dr. Wallace presently serves as a section editor for the Encyclopedia of Individual and Personality Differences. She is an ad hoc reviewer for Nature Partner Journals, Schizophrenia, Community Psychology, and Journal of Personality Assessment.
