Early Life and Educational Background

Dr. Reeve was born in the small rural town of Aurora, Nebraska, in 1973. He received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities (1997) and an M.A. (1998) and Ph.D. (2001) in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University where he specialized in psychometrics and human intelligence.

Professional Career

Dr. Reeve first taught in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Purdue University from 2001 to 2004. Since 2004, Dr. Reeve has been a faculty member in the Health Psychology program at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. Dr. Reeve has authored over 70 scientific publications in outlets such as Intelligence, Journal of Applied Psychology, Behavioral Sciences and the Law, Personality and Individual Differences, Contemporary Educational Psychology, American Journal of Orthopsychiatry, among others.
