Definition

B-love, also known as being love, is the process of loving and caring in an unselfish way about other (especially a partner) just for his/her being or essence. It is a rare type of love which is manifested in and by self-actualized people (i.e., last stage of Maslow’s needs where the basic necessities have been sated and the motivation occurs for personal growth). It is an end experience rather than a means experience, i.e., the other is not a vehicle to obtain love but the purpose of the experience itself.
