Properties and Modelling of Sustainable Geomaterials

This special issue will cover a wide range of topics related to the properties and modelling of sustainable geomaterials. Key areas of interest include (but not limited to): • Durability, chemical resistance, long-term mechanical/hydraulic characteristics, and other properties of sustainable geomaterials • Innovative application of recycled/waste materials and industrial by-products in geotechnical engineering • Innovative testing methods for understanding the composition and structure of sustainable materials and assessing their properties under various environmental conditions • Recent development of numerical modelling approaches to simulate the behaviour of sustainable geomaterials • Integration of sustainable geomaterial properties into numerical models for predicting the performance and long-term sustainability of geotechnical structures • Real-world case studies highlighting the successful implementation of sustainable geomaterials in geotechnical engineering projects
