50 Years of Infection
During the year 2023, we are proud to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Infection. The Editor-in-Chief, Johannes Bogner, would like to congratulate the journal, the publisher and all people involved in Infection. And this is a place to say “Thank you” to the founders of the journal, to those who currently read Infection, and to all those who did so in the past.
This collection welcomes articles that are dedicated to this occasion and which have to do with the history of Infection’s publication topics, with its founders and with the German Infectious Disease Society, which was also founded in 1973. Part of the collection will be printed in the June issue of 2023 as the anniversary issue. The electronic collection, however, will be available and open for submissions throughout 2023.
