    Mark Mba Wright is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University. Professor Wright has devoted his career to the study of bioenergy with over 60 publications in techno-economic and life-cycle analysis of energy systems. His current research interests are in carbon-negative energy technologies and their ability to utilize bio- and fossil-based carbon for fuel and chemical synthesis. Professor Wright’s research has been sponsored by Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-e), National Science Foundation (NSF), the US Department of Agriculture, and other federal and private agencies.
