Abstract
This paper presents a novel technique of using depth maps to recognize activities involving two persons. Very simple depth map based features are used to reduce processing power requirement. Kinect®SDK is used to identify the skeleton of up to two persons in the scene. Shape and temporal features are extracted from the region of interest. These features are subsequently passed to SVM Classifier for training and classification.
