Space Modeling with SolidWorks and NX

Abstract

This chapter presents detailed techniques for both modelers, necessary for a high-quality presentation in accordance with the standards of technical documentation. The goal was to present the problems that any designer can encounter, and then the tools to overcome them by means of different techniques in order to arrive at the end product, i.e., the technical documentation (manufacturing drawing). Also presented is a technique—probably not yet perfected—of using both modelers to create detailed working documents, which will require more accurate programming in the future. However, such information is very useful and necessary for the user in order to save him or her from searching for a suitable menu.
