Abstract
As discussed in Chapter 3, simply having a large amount of computers cannot make computation efficient. Good parallel algorithms are always required. Although we can design a new parallel algorithm each time, there is a better method. There are a large number of good parallel algorithms for different kind of parallel computers in research papers and books. P2P network can be considered as a special kind of parallel computer architecture. It is possible that we can modify some existing parallel algorithm for our particular problem. There is no need to start from scratch.
